Sherry's Hamburger Casserole

Amy submitted this recipe on behalf of her Mom. Originally known as 'Delicious Hamburger Casserole', this is one of everyone's favorite dishes by Sherry. Its easy to make and can be frozen if desired. It is also very good reheated.

Ingredients

1 and 1/2 lbs ground beef, browned and drained
16 oz tomato sauce
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1 t sugar
1/8 t garlic salt
3oz Cream Cheese
1 medium onion chopped
1 c sour cream
Wide Noodles (or any other type of pasta)

Instructions

Step 1
After browning and draining the ground beef, mix in the following and simmmer for 15-20 minutes: tomato sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, and garlic salt.

Step 2
Cook and drain the pasta. Add pasta to beef mixture, then mix in cream cheese, sour cream, and onion.

Step 3
Add everything to a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
