Nana's Beef & Biscuits Casserole

This was one of my Grandma's (Nana) favorite dishes. Feeding a family of 7 was no easy task and this was one of her staples.

Instructions

Step 1
Dice 1 large onion,1 green pepper and 3 stalks of celery. Brown 2 lbs. of hamburger, drain oil, mix in onion, pepper, onion, celery, season with salt & pepper.

Step 2
Add 2 cans of cream of celery soup or cream of mushroom. Simmer until meat is thoroughly cooked with soup, add water or beef broth if needed.

Step 3
Pour into a 9x12 cake pan, cover with slices of cheddar cheese, on top of cheese cover with uncooked package biscuits.

Step 4
Bake in oven at 350 until biscuits rise & brown.
