Grandpa Elmer Pasta

This is a simple dish my dad used to make for me as a kid, which I now make for my kids. He called it 'Pasta Burro' (Butter Pasta), but we call it 'Grandpa Elmer Pasta'. It's just pasta with butter and parmesan cheese; nothing fancy at all but still a family favorite, and I love that we use it as a reference to him.

Ingredients

Pasta (any kind)
Butter
Olive oil
Parmesan Cheese
Salt

Instructions

Step 1
Boil a pot of lightly salted water.

Step 2
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook 6-8 minutes, until pasta is al dente. Strain water.

Step 3
Stir pasta with butter, Parmesan cheese, a dash of Olive oil, and a dash of salt.

Step 4
Serve in a bowl and enjoy
